GitHub Username: “Poztato”

There was a point in time when I wanted to create a second GitHub account for my personal projects to keep it apart from my university-related work.

Since the GitHub account I used for university was already my regular go-to username for online stuff, I had to find a new one. Fortunately, there was a conveniently placed potato beside my desk which greatly accelerated my decision — Poztato.

Fast forward a year later, I was eating some homemade dhal. I was nearing the end of my meal when I looked down at my food — and saw my food looking back at me.

Literally, two peppercorns and a random spice somehow found their way onto a small chunk of potato, perfectly forming a smile. I was so intrigued by it — especially since it looked so much like an AI-generated comic book potato character to the prompt “generate me a cute potato” — that I took a picture and kept it.

Soon after, I started experimenting with Hermes Agent and named it “Poztato Bot” on Telegram. This image became Poztato Bot’s profile picture even till this day. After creating this website, I decided to carry on Smiling Potato’s legacy and made it the website’s favicon.

True Purpose Of This Blog

Even though the story is true, I honestly just wanted to test the markdown blog post rendering functionality… looks like everything is working well!
